Ano ang kahulugan ng Ghost Month?

Maraming nagtataka kung ano nga ba ang Ghost Month, kung ito ba ay totoo? Tinaguriang ghost month ng mga Chinese ang buwan na ito dahil naniniwala silang ang mga patay pumupunta sa mundo ng mga tao para makita ang kanilang mga mahal sa buhay o di kaya ay maghiganti sa mga taong umapi sa kanila noong sila ay nabubuhay pa sa lupa.

 Ang ghost month o mga hungry ghost ay ang mga kaluluwa na hindi na-reincarnate o nabuhay sa kabilang mundo. Ang mga ispiritung ito ay hindi masaya at may mga dapat pang gawin dito sa mundo ngunit namatay ng biglaan o meron pa silang unfinished business kung tawagin. Ang mga hungry ghost ay posibleng namatay ng biglaan kagaya ng aksidente, pinatay o di kaya na-rape. Ang mga kaluluwang ito ay hindi masaya sa kanilang pagkakamatay. Namatay sila na hindi natagpuan ang bangkay ng kanilang pamilya o hindi nabigyan ng proper burial.

Naniniwala ang mga Filipino-Chinese o pure Chinese na sa panahon ng Ghost Month malas ang magtayo o magbukas ng negosyo, ayaw din nilang magpatayo ng bahay o building. Hindi rin daw magandang mag-asawa, lumipat ng matitirhan, o kaya magpirma ng kontrata. Ayon sa kanilang paniniwala ito ang buwan na malas para sa lahat ng tao.

Lahat ng mga kaluluwang uhaw ay gumagala kaya dobleng ingat para sa lahat. Hindi nananakit ang mga kaluluwa ngunit bumubulong ito sa mga tao, at minsan naging sanhi ng kanilang kamatayan. Kung mapapansin natin mga nakaraang taon maraming trahedya ang nangyari. Sa kasalukuyan maraming aksidente din ang mga naganap sa ating bansa, hindi lang dito sa Pilipinas maging sa ibang bansa. Payo ng mga eksperto, doble ingat sa panahon ng ghost month.

 

Kelan nga ba ang Ghost Month?

Sa taong 2017 paparating ang ghost month kung saan magsiumula ang tradisyunal ng mga Buddhist and Taoist occasion sa buwan ng Agosto 22, 2017. Ito ay unang araw sa 7th Chinese  Lunar Calendar . Magtatapos naman ito sa buwan ng Setyembre 19, 2017

 

Paano Makaiwas sa Malas sa Panahon ng Ghost Month?

Iwasang ang mga sumusunod:

1.      Mag-travel

2.      Bumili ng bahay o sasakyan,

3.      Magpaayos ng bahay o magpatayo,

4.      Lumipat ng matitirhan o opisina

5.      Mamuhunan sa negosyo o Investment

6.      Bumisita sa sementeryo

7.      Doble ingat sa pagmamaneho

8.      Umuwi ng madalang araw

9.      Planong pagpakasal

10.  Pag-swimming sa mga malalalim o sa pampang

Ano ang mga pangontrang gagawin o bagay sa panahon ng Ghost month?

Ayon sa eksperto mas mainam na laging magsuot ng pulang damit dahil ang kulay pula nangangahulugan ng “Good luck”. Maiging may nakalagay na bato o crystal upang may panangga sa mga “bad luck” at labanan ang mga negative energy sa loob ng bahay.
