Walay na kami ng ama ng anak ko. Nag file ako nag child support and we both agreed ne he will send 3k every month and additional support for emergency cases and occasions such as bdays. Im plannig for a bday party this december and asking for his financial support for our child bday but he said na they will just go out together instead of giving me money. What will I do?

Ang support po ay para sa basic needs ng bata. Ngayon, ang birthday party po ay hindi basic need. So, maaaring pumayag ang ama ng bata na magbigay ng pera para sa birthday party niya, pero, sa realidad, kung siya'y malaki ang gastos at kapos siya sa pera, hindi po nating siya mapipilit na magpadala ng extra kung siya'y salat din.
Kailangan din po ng ama ng bata ng pera para sa kanyang personal na mga pangangailangan. Kailangan din niya ng pera para sa suporta ng kanyang mga magulang (o kung may iba pang anak, kailangan din nila ng suporta niya). Maaaring nagkasakit siya, maaaring hindi siya pinag-overtime ng employer niya, maaaring siya'y nagkaroon ng ibang pinagkagastusan. Hindi ko masasabi.
Ang mahalaga, ay ang best interest of the child. Kung sa birthday noong bata, siya naman ay bibigyan ng tatay niya ng magandang celebration at sila ay magba-bonding dahil sa ang tatay niya ay makaka-sama niya, hindi ba't mas maganda iyon kaysa sa isang party na hindi naman dadaluhan ng kanyang ama? Personal na attention ang ibibigay ng ama -- there is nothing more valuable than a father's time and attention toward his child, di po ba?
