I am a Filipina, married to a Filipino here in the Philippines, undergoing annulment. We've been living separately. I have met someone and we wish to marry, however, I know that annulments take a long time to process or finish. Can we legally obtain a divorce outside of the Philippines in the meantime, so that my fiancee and I can get married? Is that legal? I know divorce is not recognized here, but, if we were to live in another country, will my fiancee's marriage and mine be recognized/legal there?

Here's the law:
Filipino marriage laws follow Filipino citizens wherever in the world they are. Thus, if you are a Filipina married to a Filipino, even if you live for a long time in another country, if you remain Filipino citizens, you will still be married under Philippine laws even if you get a divorce in the country where you reside.
A Filipino married to a foreign national can be divorced by the foreign national and the divorce decree will be recognized by the Philippines and the Filipino who had been divorced by the foreign spouse will be free to marry again.
