Does it mean I have some sickness or illness, if I have not had menstruation for 3 months?

Im 19 turning 20 this november. I had my menstruation last May 16. Why dont I have my menstruation until now August 2017? Is it possible that i have a illness?? Or any sickness?? Or worst?

Hello Ms. Anonymous, I guess it is safe to say that you are not sexually active since you did not consider pregnancy for missing your period for three months. I am a nurse and from a nurse's point of view, it is most probably secondary to hormonal imbalance. According to your medical record, you are 210lbs and would probably be a bit heavy that could affect the hormones in your body. There are also a lot of possibilities and another would be irregularity. If in the past, your menstruation is always irregular then most probably you just don't ovulate regularly or still, might have hormonal imbalance.
