What is quota visa? How to get it and renew it?

My boss is a foreigner and he ask to me get an quota visa, but i don't know what is quota visa. Can you please help me?

I'm sorry, but you did not specify the country from where you can get this "quota" visa. Sa aking personal knowledge, ang quota visa ay applicable lamang sa US. There are certain jobs like nurses, physical therapists, head nurses, caregivers, and teachers for which the US Immigration Service issues only a set number of visas every year (hence, the name quota). They only issue several thousands of work visas for these jobs every year. So sometimes, the wait for the issuance of the work visa takes a year or two because the applications are waiting in line for the availability of visas.

I do not know very much about this. I cannot even understand why your employer will tell you to get a quota visa. You did not explain. So, I cannot give you a precise answer.
