I want to ask if ok lang ang mag DH sa dubai with arabic employer? And totoo po ba yung mga agencies na walang hinihinging pera or let say processing fee para makaalis ng bansa? yung agency nakabase sa DUBAI. (Marhaba labour supply) yan po name ng agency. Salamat po. hope someone will notice this.

Hello, you wrote a post in a legal forum. I cannot answer you if it's "okay" to have an Arabic employer in Dubai. I have not worked as a domestic helper in Dubai under an Arabic employer before so I have no personal knowledge or experience. I also imagine that no two Arabic employers are the same -- each employer will have a different personality, so we cannot generalize these things.

What I am concerned about in your post is that you mentioned a Dubai-based employment agency. If your deployment is through a Dubai agency that does not have an agent in the Philippines, you will not be leaving the country to work with a POEA-approved job contract. You will not be protected in case you are suddenly terminated or if you are maltreated or if your wages are not given to you in compliance with your contract.

This is a specie of direct-hiring that circumvents the protections afforded by Philippine law through the POEA. So, you will be going to Dubai and dealing with a foreign employment agency at your own risk.

Please be careful.
