Ang katanungan ko po, ay about sa SSS nong mother ko po, who is now a deceased. My mother's position when she was not married/young/single was a Security Guard po. I don't know po, if how many years na po siyang nag tra trabaho, and my father told me that my mother has a some SSS (Social Security System) money beneficiaries when she was young working as a guard, so me as a daughter I can commit or claiming the money she had before (I don't know, if it's pension or sorry??? basta, pera) but the beneficiaries she was on a pen signed was her mother and her father, which her my mother(mygrand-ma) is a deceased already for the past 3 years, I think. so, yung father niya (my grand-pa) is still alive, who was left on her beneficiary, which the only person who can took her sss right? So, my question is, meron bang karapatan kung ang daughter na lang po ba, ang mag claim ng kanyang SSS, or ang meron lang yong kanyang beneficiary, kundi si lolo lamang. my mother is dead, and it's been almost 1 year and a half , na po isyang dead. So, sayang lang po kasi, if di namin makuha, and we'regonna take the money for emergency ... kahit anak po ba ako, pwede po ba ako? at tsaka, paano ho, namin makukuha? and, saan and may requirements ba to, may fee or whatever, just asking po if may idea po ako, dito kung ano ang gagawin ko.. I will wait for your best replies.. BEST ATTORNIES... thank you and more POWER, God Bless

Under the SSS law, ang member ay may karapatang maglagay ng kung sino ang gusto niyang maka-kuha ng benefits. Pero, kapag namatay na ang member, the law says that the person who can claim the death benefits are the legal spouse, the legitimate and illegitimate children of the SSS member.

Please go to the SSS and inquire from them directly.
