2 years po kontrata niya.

Well, if you have signed a contract, you are bound by that contract. Liban na lamang kung may mga kadahilanan ka: nonpayment of salary, or salary paid is not what appears in the contract, passport is withheld by the employer, the employee is overworked (made to work beyond eight hours or on days off, or on holidays without extra pay). If the employee is maltreated or detained in the house by the employer, or threatened, or made to work for some other employer other than the employer who signed the contract, these are all reasons for the employee to terminate the contract.

The agency may file for damages, but only if the contract states that any breach of the terms of the contract by the employee entitles the employer to damages.
