Iba po ang self-employed sa voluntary member. kasi, ang self-employed, may sarili kang business o kaya, you practice your profession at hindi ka sumusuweldo.

The best thing to do is to inquire from the SSS itself. They will be better able to explain to you the difference between voluntary and self-employed lalo na sa mga benefits na makukuha.
