pag sinabing "net of all taxes" ibig sabihin, ito iyong natirang halaga matapos na ibawas ang lahat ng applicable taxes. Halimbawa, nanalo ka ng contest sa TV. Napanalunan mo ay one milyon pesos. Winnings are taxable when they exceed P10,000. So, iyong P990,000 ay subject to 20% tax. So, ang matatanggap lang noong winner ay P990,000 less 20% (P198,000). Ang matatanggap lamang niya ay P792,000. Itong P792,000 ay "net of all taxes". Natitira matapos na mabawas ang lahat ng taxes na applicable.
Iyon namang "inclusive of all taxes" ay iyong amount na babayaran kasali na ang taxes. Halimbawa, kapag bumili ka ng flash drive, at humingi ka ng official receipt, makikita mo, yung presyo noong flash drive, sabihin mo nang P100, itong price na ito ay kasama na ang 12% VAT. P100 is already inclusive of all taxes.
Pag tinignan mo ang resibo mo, nakalaga, subtotal P88.00 + P12 (representing the 12% vat). Total ay P100. kaya, iyong nasa price tag na P100 ito ay "inclusive of all taxes". Kasama na ang lahat ng taxes na dapat bayaran.
