Valid ba kapag ikinasal sa Lebanon? Single pa rin sa birth certificate sa Pilipinas

Valid po ba ang kasal ko sa Lebanon? Kasi single parin yong birth certificate ko dito sa pinas. Hindi naman natapos yong pagprocess ng residence permit dahil sa bumalik na ako ng pinas. At pwede pa rin ba akong magpakasal sa ibang bansa?

Ang gulo naman ng pagkaka-kuwento mo. Ikinasal ka sa Lebanon. Iyong marriage certificate mo sa Lebanon, hindi mo ipina-rehistro sa Pilipinas? kaya, sa NSO, kung kukuha ka ng CeNoMar (Certificate of No Marriage), walang lalabas na marriage na registered sa pangalan mo.

Lahat naman tayo, sa birth certificate natin, single (kasi, noong ipinanganak tayo, single tayo). kahit may twin ka, single ka pa rin, kasi, walang ipinapanganak na may asawa na, diba? Baka ang ibig mo sabihin ay, single pa rin ang nakalagay sa passport mo.

Nag-umpisa kang mag-process ng residence permit mo sa Lebanon, pero, hindi natapos, kaya, hindi ka pa rin resident sa Lebanon.

So, now, ang tanong mo, kung ikaw ay makapag-travel sa ibang bansa, puede ka pa bang magpa-kasal? Well, walang pipigil sa iyo, diba? kasi, lahat ng papeles mo mula sa Pilipinas, single ka pa. Kung ikaw ay hingan ng CeNoMar, lalabas na hindi ka pa ikinakasal kahit na kailan kasi, hindi naman rehistrado sa Pilipinas ang kasal mo sa Lebanon.

But why would you get married again if you were already married? Paano kung hanapin ka noong pinakasalan mo sa Lebanon? Were you married under Muslim rites? Kasi, baka iba ang kanilang laws. In some countries (like the USA and Canada, UK and Australia) if you have been married before and you did not inform them that you had been married before, tapos, out of the blue, kapag nag-background check sila o police-check sila, makikita na tumira ka sa Lebanon at ikaw ay married doon, your visa application will automatically be denied.

Magpa-divorce ka muna sa Lebanon. Para malinis ang record mo, kahit na maungkat pa sa Lebanon, at least, divorced ka na.
