Di naman pwede tayo salita nang salita and hindi mo naman alam nangyayari sa election. Marami kasi nagmamagaling sa eleksyon, hindi naman botante, so shut up ka na, hindi ka naman botante. Sa lahat ng mga bumoboto, ang gusto ko lang sabihin mas maging open-minded sa nangyayari at alamin anong nangyayari ngayon eleksyon dahil napakalapit na. Ilang araw na lang, next week na yata yan. Kilalanin natin yung susuportahan natin kung sino man, hindi pa huling ang lahat para magbago ang desisyon kung kanino man kayo, pero alamin natin ano nangyayari ngayon." Ayon naman sa asawa ng singer aktres na si Jessa Zarragoza ang kanyang asawang si Dingdong Avanzado na dating Vice Governor ng Siquijor ay mas piniling huwag tumakbo ulit. Dahil naniniwala siya na mas matutukan niyang mabuti at makakatulong sya sa pangangampanya kay Mar Roxas at Leni Robledo.
May pahayag din si Gary Valenciano sa mga tao lalong lalo na sa mga taong mahilig mag bully sa social media.
“I think in the past elections, the media has never really seen me talk in this way. There is a reason why after all the debates that have gone on amongst friends, online, from different people from different walks of life, that my choice would be Mar and Leni. It wasn’t just through the debates, but for me kasi, when it comes to planning for a country that has undergone so much turmoil in so many years, sometimes it takes one, two, three, four, maybe five administrations before an entire nation can feel complete change. This I believe if Mar wins, would be one of the administrations that will continue that change for the better. I’ve always believed that before you move ahead and go to square one, you have to start with a drawing board. Yung plano-plano ba. And when that’s done, then that’s when you say let’s go to square one. Folks, this is where we are today, square one. I am not speaking with any as I stand here, I will forever respect the decisions of others. I maybe bashed and I’m ready for it but regardless of what is said, I am also a Filipino, and I was not born and raised to bash others. My son Paolo is going to be a father in November.
