Learn from those who live in the country you’re visiting, because people enrich travelling more than sights do. If you really want to get a feel for the pulse of a place, spend some time standing by the sidewalk by yourself just watching day to day life happen in front of you.

Isa sa mga pinakaatraksyon ng probinsya ay ang mga white pristine beaches in Panglao Island Bohol and one of these famous beaches is Alona Beach Resort. Ito ay matatagpuan sa Panglao, Bohol at pwedeng pwede mong puntahan by ship or by plane. From Manila or Cebu, you drop by Tagbilaran then take a shuttle or bus to Panglao, Bohol. The trip will take you like an hour or so.

Lahat ay airconditioned, may cable tv at internet, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and fully furnished kaya feel na feel mo at home dito.

Restaurant and Bar at sa mga mahilig sa burger, meron din naman Alona Burger, so hindi mo na kailangan pang mangarap ng McDo or Jollibee at higit sa lahat, sa mga mahihilig sa nightlife, of course hindi mawawala sa limelight ang famous Coco Vida Bar and Restaurant which is very well known for its large varieties of exotic cocktail drinks and for their sorted music which is perfect for the party goers at sa mga mahihilig sa cofee, meron din naman coffee shop, ang Coffee Dreams Mocambo which serves the real and unmistakable "italian espresso".

So if you have the money and the luxury of time, go na go na sa Alona Beach Resort in Panglao,Bohol, siguradong hindi ka magsisi kaibigan sa kakaibang excitement na matatamasa mo doon. Bring your kids and family, have fun and enjoy your vacation. I'm pretty sure you'll say sarap ulit ulitin...:)

TRAVELLING TIPS

Engage in small talk or conversations with local people. Learn from those who live in the country you’re visiting, because people enrich travelling more than sights do. If you really want to get a feel for the pulse of a place, spend some time standing by the sidewalk by yourself just watching day to day life happen in front of you. Observe the details around you, from the sights to the smell, and sound.

Make sure your passport has at least six months' validity from your planned date of return to the Philippines. Carry extra passport photos in case your passport is lost or stolen and you need to replace it while you're away. Also make sure that you have the right visas for the countries you are visiting or transiting and check any other entry or exit requirements.

In connection, make copies of your passport details, insurance policy, traveller’s cheques, visas and credit card numbers. Carry one copy in a separate place to the originals and leave a copy with someone at home. Even better, keep both digital and physical copies of your passport, visas, driver’s license, birth certificate, health insurance card, serial numbers, and important phone numbers ready to go in case of an emergency.

Do not forget to bring your camera charger.

Avoid bringing clothes that require ironing.

Keep a journal. If you ever want to write about your travels, details are important.

Pack less stuff. If you’re not sure about packing something, you probably do not need it. It’s also likely to buy most things at your destination country if you realize later you need them.

Wear or bring rubber shoes. At some point during your trip, you won’t care what you look like. You will only care about being comfortable.

Obey the laws of the country you're visiting even if these seem harsh or unfair by your country’s standards. Don't expect to be treated differently from the locals just because you're a foreigner.

Check with health professionals for information on recommended vaccinations and other health precautions.

Lastly, keep in contact with friends and family back home and give them a copy of your itinerary so they know where you are
