Before you start to write, determine who your target audience is and what do they want to know about. What will catch their attention or resonate with them? So try to make your post unique from other posts written on the same topic. Research other posts with the same topic. Don’t simply say what everybody else is saying. Add your mark by mixing it up and making your post stand out in some way. The perfect blog post will make your audience stop and think. It will conjure some sort of emotion and make readers talk amongst themselves. Skilled bloggers should remember to start with content first. What does that mean? You need to have something to say before any other part of the writing can begin. Write about something you are passionate about.

Some experts suggest that writers should dedicate 70 percent of their time into thinking and writing headlines, which is saying to place your effort into the most important piece. It’s easy to let headlines take the back seat in your writing process. Headlines can wind up as a quick afterthought, but really should be treated with a lot more thought, consideration and passion. As a matter of fact, your headline might be more compelling than the article itself.
Emphasize your value proposition, by explaining to visitors in the headlines why your blog is valuable. Your article headline will explain to readers why your article is worth reading.
After you finish writing, go back and optimize your post for search. Do not overthink and obsess over how many keywords to include. If there are opportunities to include keywords you are targeting, and it won't impact reader experience, do it. Just remember that if you can make your URL shorter and more keyword-friendly, do it.
Writing is really about achieving flow, so it might not be easy to shift back and forth between writing and other tasks. Share how you feel. It will take your readers to a deeper place and make it more engaging and empathetic to others.
