Atty.

Translation: My brother has been separated from his wife for 15 years now. His wife had betrayed him/committed adultery, when my brother was still abroad, and she had 4 children with her paramour/lover.

Afterwards, my brother found another woman and got married to her. He would like now to settle everything and so that his current wife (second one) and him would be legally married, by filing an annulment from his first wife). They are both happy now and would like to be legally married, without any problems.

But my brother is afraid of filing an annulment, because during the hearing of the case, they may find out that he married again a second time (twice). Could you please advise us what we should do, and the possible consequences if my brother files for annulment from my first wife? Could the court/judge bring up my brother's second marriage, and be sued for bigamy?
