Change of employers (Process and requirements)

Miguel Flores
is a Accountant in Papua New Guinea

Good day, I am an OFW currently employed in Papua New Guinea.

My contract with my current employer will not expire until June 2016.

I have been offered a job in another country and am planning to accept the offer. Just would like to understand the following processes:

1) How do I register the change of employers with POEA

2) Can I fly straight to the country of my new employer and just register the change of location in the Philippine embassy there or am I required to go back to the Philippines to personally register the change of my employer in the phils?

3) How months does it take to register the change of employer ?

4) Can I register the change of employers while I am here in PNG or through an agent?

5) How much is the normal range if I use an agent?

Naku, Miguel. This is not a mere change of employers. This is a totally new contract with a new employer in a different country.

You will have to inquire with the labor attache sa embassy ng Pinas sa PNG.

Sorry, I cannot be of much help.
