I think that when you say you have been working with the same employer for 12 years, you mean to say that at first you had a POEA approved contract of employment but later, you were directly hired. Am I right?

You are in a precarious position. If you ask your employer for a salary increase, you might be terminated. You cannot file a case for failure to pay a just wage because I do not think that there a minimum wage laws in Saudi Arabia and I do not know if the minimum wage laws which may exist can be applied to overseas contract workers.

The best thing to do is to look for new employment and tell your boss that you are thinking of resigning because the new job offers a higher salary. If your boss values your working relationship, he will at least match the salary offered by the other employer.

This is just a suggestion. I do not know the particular details of your situation to give you definitive advice. Sorry that I cannot help you further.
