Demanding child support but not legally married ..

I am planning to ask child support from the father of my daughter who is 3 years old now Someone suggested PAO for rights and free attorney. Were not married but he acknowledged my daughter as his child by signing on her birth certificate and by using his last name. Now we're separated because of another woman, I have proofs.

Wala pa asawa ang ama ng anak ko at ang anak ko ay una at kaisa isa nyang anak. Sa ngayon ay may trabaho sya sa Manila. Can I demand support from him and what is the first step po ba?

Ano po una ko gagawin para makakuha ako ng sustento sa kanya? Kelangan ko ba pumunta sa opisina nila para malaman ko kung magkano sinusweldo nya? Gusto ko maliwanagan kung ano ba dapat ko gawin. Salamat po ..
