Una sa lahat, kasal ba kayong legal noong ama noong mga bata? Pangalawa, dati ba’y nagpapadala siya ngunit tumigil lamang? Pangatlo, may ebidensiya ka bang siya’y may trabaho sa abroad at sumusuweldo? Kasi, baka natanggal siya sa trabaho at kasalukuyang naghahanap ng panibagong trabaho, diba?

Kung sasabihin nating kayo’y kasal, ang mga anak ninyo’y dati na niyang pinadadalhan ng pera pero tumigil siya, at kayo’y may ebidensiya na siya’y may trabaho at may sinasahod na regular pero siya’y hindi nagpapa-dala ng pera dahil sa ayaw lang niya, may solusyon diyan.

Maari kayong mag-file ng petition for support—ito ay isang civil case lamang na maaaring hindi pansinin ng inyong asawa. Ang isang hakbang na medyo seryoso ang resulta ay kung kayo’y magdedemanda ng criminal laban sa inyong asawa.

Ang hindi pagsusuporta ng financial sa asawa at anak ay isang form ng violence against women. Kung ito ay OK sa inyo (na kasuhan ng criminal ang inyong asawa), maaari kayong mag-file ng complaint affidavit sa Prosecutor’s office kung saan kayo naka-tira.

Kailangan ninyo ng mga ebidensiya. Marriage certificate ninyo, birth certificate ng mga bata, passport, emails, sulat o kung ano pa man na komunikasyon sa inyo ng inyong asawa kung bakit hindi na siya nagpapadala ng support. Kung may ebidensiya kayong siya’y may ibang sinusuportahang anak o asawa – maganda itong ebidensiya. Bank statements, yung allotment authorization (iyong pa ba ang tawag doon?) na luma kung meron.

Pag dating ng inyong asawa, sa airport pa lamang, mag-sama kayo ng pulis, at siya’y inyong bigyan ng kopya ng inyong demanda. Para naman medyo manginig siya – at baka maayos naman ito.
