Kasi yong mama ko may bukol sa leeg. Sabi po ng Doctor, kulani daw po. Pero pag pinisil po di naman masakit.

Nag aalala po ako kasi baka kung ano un. Kailangan po bang operahan?

Naalala ko tuloy ung kaibigan ko na may bukol din sa leeg. Hindi rin siya sumasakit kapag hinahawakan. Pero ito ay patuloy na lumalaki. It turned out meron siyang hypothyroidism. Your moms case might be different. After several tests from your doctor, malalaman kung ano ang intervention sa mom mo. Yung ay kng may ginawang test sa mom mo. Makakatulong din kung masasagot mo ang mga susunond kung tanong: 1) mabilis ba ang paglaki ng bukol? 2) gumagalaw ba ang bukol kapag siya ay lumulunok? 3) may iba pa bang sintomas na nararamdaman maliban sa bukol?

Balitaan mo ako. Mainam sa ngayon na EENT ang titingin sa iyong nanay. Ang operasyon ay sinasagawa lamang kapag ang bukol ay matinding sagabal o di kaya'y sa matinding pangangailangan lamang.

Mainam na ipatingin mo ulit sa ENT para magawan ng masusing Physical Exams ang iyong nanay. Bagay na hindi ko magawa sa ating sitwasyon. Naisin ko mang sabihin na hindi ito delikado. Pero hangga't hindi yan nasuri ng mabuti ay wag dapat nating ipagwalang bahala. Para na rin sa iyong kapanatagan. Kung nagaalala ka talaga sa iyong mahal na ina, gawin mo ang nararapat.
Balitaan mo ako.

Sa kaso ng kaibigan ko meron siyang hypothyroidism. Pagkatapos ng masusing pagsususuri ay binigyan ko siya ng gamot para dito. Pero madami din akong pasyente na may bukol sa leeg, minsan inooperahan. Lalo kapag ito ay nakakaipit ng mga ugat sa leeg.
