Hindi ako pwedeng kumain ng dairy foods kaya paano ko po masisigurong makakakuha ako ng sapat na calcium para mapigilan ang osteoporosis?

Maraming mga "non-dairy foods" ang nagtataglay ng calcium kaya makakakuha ka pa rin ng sapat na calcium. Kahit na hindi ka umiinom ng gatas o kumakain ng dairy foods, may iba pang pagpipilian. Mabuting "source" ng calcium ang mga oily na isda tulad ng nasa latang sardinas at "pilchard", soya beans at tofu, tinapay, ilang berdeng gulay gaya ng "broccoli" at "watercress", "dried fruits" (lalo na ang "figs"), "nuts at seeds" (lalo na ang almonds at sesame seeds). Kung gagamit ka ng soya, bigas o oat milk, piliin yung may dagdag na calcium. Kung nag-aalala ka na hindi ka nakakakuha ng sapat na calcium sa iyong diet, kausapin ang iyong doktor o dietician.
