Topic: Is it bad to have high red blood count (RBC)? I have a child who is 6 years old, turning 7 this September. She had urine test and we were told that she has a little bit of UTI (urinary tract infection), but that wasn't the cause of her fever. There was ketone and protein traced in her blood, so she had a blood test and they saw that her RBC is 13.07 (the normal should be 10). Is this bad, dangerous, serious?
