Nakalmot ng pusa, naghilom, di nagbubula bibig, rabies? Foaming saliva, drooling, frothing mouth

Need ko po ang advice niyo: Nakalmot po ako ng pusa at yung kalmot hindi naman masyadong malalim and naghihilom na ito. Pwede po ba ako magkaroon ng rabies? At namomonitor ko naman yung pusang kumalmot, hindi naman siya nanghihina, di nagbubula ung bibig , at kumakain rin. Pero gusto ko lang makasigurado kung pwede pa ako magkarabies?

Pahilom na ung sugat at hindi naman ito nagdugo yung nakalmot ako ng pusa (at meron pa po akong tanong totoo po bang namamatay yung hayop na nakagat/nangalmot pag may rabies ito)?


Translation: I was scratched by a cat, but the it was not that deep a scratch and it is healing now. Could I still be infected or get rabies because of this? I monitor the cat who scratched me, but it looks normal, the cat is not weakening or drooling or foaming saliva on the mouth. I just want to be sure that I did not get infected with rabies.

Second question: Will the animal that bit or scratched you die if the animal has rabies?

Wala ka dapat ikabahala. Ang rabies ay nagmumula sa KAGAT ng aso o pusa at hindi sa kalmot. Mainam na linisin lamang ang sugat para iwas impeksyon. Tandaan, hindi ka kakapitan ng rabies maliban sa KAGAT ng galit na aso o pusa.

Hi po Doc, sabi po kasi sa ibang health website pwede daw magkarabies sa kalmot yun lang parang napaparanoid ako sa nabasa ko pero namomonitor ko nman po yung pusa at hindii pa nman nababaliw ung pusa o bumubula ung bibig at pang pitong araw pa lang toh malakas ung pusa at kumakain nman kami ung nagpapakain mga tira tira nman pagkain puro malilinis man yun so wala po ba magka rabies ung pusa na un?

Hi po Doc , ang nararamdaman ko lang sa katawan ko ay sakit ng ulo at wala ng iba na nasa sintomas ng may isang rabies d rin po ako nagkaroon ng flu like symptoms at ibang sintomas na may senyales na may rabies so positive po na wala akong rabies at hindi nagkakarabies sa kalmot ng pusa?
