Posible mahawa baby ko sa hepa? Pwede breastfeed? Hepatitis through breastfeeding baby?

Ilang taon ng nakalipas ng malamam ko may hepa ako, simula palang sa 1st baby ko nung 1996 ng ipanganak ko sya. Until now 2014, positive pa din ako sa hepa. Natatakot ako mag pa check sa doctor uli. Ano pwede ko gawin? May 10mos. old baby ako at breastfeeding pa sya sa akin. Possible kaya mahawa sya kahit sa 1st baby ko? 3 kids na anak ko ngayon. Pls! advise po!



Topic: I've known that I have Hepatitis for several years now, since the birth of my first baby back in 1996. Until now 2014, I am still positive with Hepatitis. I am afraid to see a doctor again. What should I do? I have a 10 month old baby and I am breastfeeding. Could the baby get hepatitis from me? I now have 3 kids.

Depende kung ano klaseng hepatitis. Assuming viral hepatitis, Hep b and c can infect the fetus.
Kung ang nanay ay may hepatitis b, kailangan malaman ng OB at pediatrician... Kadalasan kailangan din ng baby ng 2 shots at birth: IVIG at unang Hepa b vaccine. Kailangan din tapusin ng sanggol ang hepatitis b immunization series.
Usualy, pwede magpa-breastfeed. Most viral infections, tulad ng Hepatits B, ay hindi transmitted to infants via breast milk. Pero kailangan mo at iyong baby magpatingin at magpa-check sa doctor (OB at pedia).

doc,ntatakot kc ako mag pa check sa doctor!pro minsan naiisip ko din ito sakit ko.nag wowory din ako sa mga anak ko!bka mhawa sila ng hepa.hind ko alm kung san ko nakuha ito?dhil sa 1st.baby ko lng po possitive na agad ako.tpos after ko manganak alam ko binigyan ng vaccine yung baby ko ng pra sa hepa.yun po bang mga vaccine ng binibigay ng health center eh nakaktulong po ba yun?slmata po!
