Question: I went to see doctor, and the ultrasound results show polycystic. I was prescribed Metformin and Eveprim, but I had menstruation for 6 months. I asked for second opinion from another doctor, and was also told that I have polycystic ovary syndrome, and was prescribed Primolute, after 10 days I had my period. After 7 days, I went back to see the Ob gyn, and was prescribed atena pills, to be taken on the first day of menstruation. I took this for 3 months, so that my period would become regular. After finishing one box, I should wait for menstruation, before taking the next box. Is the doctor's explanation correct? Or do I need to see another ob gyn? I really want to have a baby with my husband. I'm 29 years old and my husband is 30 years old. He only drinks occassionally and does not smoke.
