Ayon po sa o.b. ko, ang sakit ko na PID (Pelvic Inflammatory Disease) ay dahil sa hindi nagamot na STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) sa loob ng limang taon. Pero mas nagaalala po ako sa asawa ko. Ano po kaya ang posibleng naging sakit nya? Pareho po namin hindi alam na may STD kame.

Isang infection/impeksyon ang Pelvic inflammatory disease sa reproductive organs ng babae (sinapupunan, pwerta/vagina, ovary, uterus, etc.) Kadalasan, komplikasyon ito sanhi ng sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), tulad ng chlamydia at gonorrhea.
