Ang liver cirrhosis ay pagkasira ng atay. Ito ay komplikasyon sa atay na linalarawan ang pagkawala ng liver cells at hindi na maagapan pang pagkasugat o pag-scarring nito.

Kadalasan walang makikitang sintomas ang liver cirrhosis hangga’t hindi pa ito lumalala. Ang mga common na sintomas ay ang paninilaw ng balat dahil sa accumulation ng bilirubin sa dugo, madaling makaramdam ng pagod o panghihina, madaling pagkapuyat, walang ganang kumain, pangangati, madaling pagkasugat at pagdurugo o pagkaroon ng pasa dahil sa kaunti na lamang na nagagawang clotting factors sa dugo, accumulation ng tubig sa tiyan at pamamaga ng mga binti, pakiramdam na nasusuka, at pagbaba ng timbang.

Wag kang magalala dahil ito ay hindi nakakahawa. Cirrhosis is not contagious; it cannot be passed on from one person to another. Ang malusog na pamumuhay pa rin ang mabisang panlaban sa liver cirrhosis.
